CETECOM ICT Services supports the market launch of cards and terminals for both contact and contactless applications, as well as telecommunications equipment and radio systems: SmartCard Terminals for banking applications are tested according to the EMVCo and the German ZKA requirements.
The communications interfaces, protocols and functionality can be evaluated as well. The testing of electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, environmental impact assessment and the certification handling for the global market access contribute to the completion of our service package.
As the world’s first lab being accredited for the testing of ePassports and ePassport readers, CETECOM ICT Services has taken a leading role in testing according to ICAO and BSI specifications. From early 2010 CETECOM will provide the certification testing for VDV-KA, the eTicketing application for public transports.
