Cambodia’s ACLEDA Bank has launched its mobile financial services powered by M-Com’s BankAnywhere. “We now offer the most comprehensive and compelling mobile financial services in Cambodia,” says In Channy, President & CEO, ACLEDA Bank. “We have effectively leapfrogged the internet channel and gone straight to mobile.”
ACLEDA customers can make person-to-person payments, top up prepaid phone accounts, pay utility bills and manage their finances in Khmer and English scripts – via SMS, mobile browser and downloaded applications. The service supports multiple currencies and language scripts.

M-Com’s BankAnywhere solution is built on the Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 using Visual Studio 2008. Using Windows Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008, ACLEDA has deployed the product within its secure data centre in Phnom Penh and integrated to its TEMENOS T24 core banking system.
